"Checking and out was a breeze. The two staff members I encountered at the check in desk were very professional and friendly. My room was very clean. The coffee was good. The whirlpool tub was a nice treat. Bed was firm and pillows were comfy. The bed frame made a noise that sounded like thunder any time you got up or sat down. The linen made me itchy. The two chairs provided looked old. I haven't gotten my deposit back yet. "

"Check in was normal except I had to sign a document confirming occupancy which I have never been required to sign before at any other hotel. The hot water in the bathroom did not stay hot and took a very long time to warm up. "The apartment house is perfectly cozy. It has lots of quirks that come with an older home, but that adds to the charm! A couple things to be aware of: if you're tall, it might be a little difficult. I'm 5'10" and I had to duck to use the shower head. Also, if you're unsteady on your feet or have difficulty with stairs, the stairs leading to the apartment are very steep and narrow (especially when you add luggage). "Its an ok place to stay on a budget. The bed was comfortable and the king room suite was clean but there were some wallpaper parts peeling from the wall. The tub was clean. The carpets can use some serious cleaning and the decor could use some updating as it looks like its been there since the 90s. The pool is not appealing or inviting as it has old blue paint peeling in it. The staff was very helpful and kind with an issue I had. Free continental breakfast was fine with its usual options. "
