"Lovely setting with pool and beautiful garden. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was great. I thought this was good value for the price we paid. Areas for improvement: no towles supplied initially (had to ask), lack of toiletries in the room (no hand soap), wifi does not work, food at restaurant quite expensive. "As the hotel name suggests the property is located away from the city's hustle and bustle :) you are immersed in nature and its beautiful surroundings. The staff were welcoming and our check in was quick and smooth. Rooms are spacious with all the necessary amenities. There was enough water pressure from the shower head regardless of the negative comments some guests experienced. Food at the restaurant was deeeeelicious and plenty of varieties from Sri Lankan to international cusines my kids...

"Gorgeous hotel in a beautiful setting. In the middle of the forest, this is a hidden little gem, with lovely spacious clean rooms, exceptionally friendly staff, and a luxury lodge like feel! It was out of season, so the hotel was quite quiet, and we had the pool to ourselves. I imagine this is the perfect spa retreat in peak season! "

The swimming pool was a great —perfect for a refreshing dip after climbing Sigiriya Rock. The hotel is in a slightly isolated location, but this wasn’t an issue for us and actually added to the peaceful atmosphere."
