"Reliable and ok for a night or two"

"Walking into the hotel there is a bad smell, walking into the room is a different one. The kitchenette had grease dripping down the walls, the bathtub plug was no longer attached to the bottom so rather than lifting up to drain you lift out the entire metal casing on the bottom, the AC did not work, no matter what temp you set it to it wouldn’t turn down, the remote to the tv didn’t work, and by the time we actually got back to the hotel room for the evening no staff is even working to help with any issues. Could not watch tv, an uncooled room and a dirty environment is not where I should have been spending money. I also do not believe offering packaged muffins and granola bars is suitable enough for you to claim to offer “free breakfast”."

"I was put into 103 was attacked by bedbugs. It took them a day and a half to move me to another room. It was a hard time to get reimbursed for the first two nights then they put me into another room that had bedbugs again I was attacked and bitten up all over. I have videos for proof and they refused to give me my refund, on top of that they were very rude. They lied about who the manager was and I never once had my sheets changed or fresh towels, and soap delivered and I stayed there for seven nights. I kept trying to get reimbursed and get my money back to check out earlier, but they kept telling me I had to speak with a manager, but the manager will never speak with me. I want to file charges and press charges and file a civil suit. "

"The Glen Club is always my go to hotel when staying near Chicago. I love its more private location because it feels like a quiet retreat away from the city. Every time we have stayed there it has been peaceful, cozy, and incredibly comfortable. With only 21 rooms, the boutique atmosphere makes it feel even more exclusive and relaxing. The hotel is consistently spotless, beautifully updated, and very well maintained, and the onsite restaurant is excellent. The only things I would love to see improved are the temperature control, since you have to call the front desk to adjust it, and the elevator, which could use a refresh to better match the rest of the property. That said, these are minor compared to the overall experience. The staff has always been extraordinarily kind and helpful, and it remains the only place we choose to stay when visiting Chicago."
