Perfect for an overnight when you have an early flight the next morning! Bar is good but eat your main meal in city centre. I’m a female solo traveler and felt very safe here.

Very convenient and comfortable

Ellie, the receptionist, was AMAZING. We arrived at the hotel exhausted and frustrated due to getting lost and other reasons not involving the hotel. I was not very nice when we arrived and irritated about not finding the parking lot. Lovey, kind, and helpful Ellie took care of us. She went above and beyond to comfort us and make us comfortable. She even exited the hotel and personally took me to the parking lot!!! God bless you Ellie for a wonderful stay.

We had one night here in preparation for an early flight. It took us 12 minutes to walk from the hotel to the airport check in - though everyone kept overtaking us and I suspect most people took about 5 minutes. The staff at reception who booked is in and out were lovely and helpful. The girl who booked us in was very kind helping me with some issues with apps on my phone. The room was very clean and with all facilities that we required. Very comfortable bed. Fun quirky decorative features...

Check in was smooth. No lift but successful in lugging 30+kg. suitcase up & down 3 flights of stairs. Room was impeccably clean. Room safe was difficult to access due to its position on floor of closet and tendency to entrap tiny objects in door which forced me to call for help. Batteries were dead in safe but replaced after 1 day's wait. Shower and tub excellent. Wonderful array of amenities. Hotel has stopped supplying slippers. Miss them. Everything was great! Room was clean and comfortable. Bus station from airport and to city center just in front of hotel! Great morning buffet and dinner was good!

When we arrived near the end of time the kitchen was open, they arranged for our bags to be brought to our room and brought us directly to a table in the bar so we got to order in time. The concierge ordered a taxi for our early morning departure the next day and was very helpful. Everyone we met was nice. The room was clean and had a nice shower. Wish we stayed here longer.

Staff was very helpful with information on best ways to get around Edinburgh. Very clean and parking was easy.

We’ll maintained, the pool and saunas were fantastic! Highly recommend as it’s walkable and very convenient to all locations downtown. Tge bar was also excellent!!

Great location, excellent hotel, and friendly service.

Enjoyed our stay here. Room was a great size with comfortable beds. Location is excellent: 5 min walk to the castle, and around a variety of shops and restaurants and a very safe area. Staff was helpful and friendly. The only “con” is parking for the hotel, which is about a 15 min walk away, so can be challenging if driving.

Lovely room, nice staff

Stayed for only one night due to a very early flight the next morning. My kids loved the bunk beds, and the room was very spacious. The bus stop is very close to the hotel and kids enjoyed the double decker bus experience to downtown Edinburgh. Plenty of free parking available at the hotel. Staff was friendly. Would recommend!
