"Overall this place just needs some work but has the potential to be so cute. They advertise a photo of this adorable pull down bed but in reality that is broken and there are sharp nails sticking out of it!! (See photos). There is instead a blow up mattress as the only sleeping arrangement with a 3-4 inch memory foam topper. Overall the bed IS comfortable, but something needs to be done about those screws sticking out and also not cool to falsely advertise the sleeping arrangements. Definitely...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Our host was very communicative and answered all our questions promptly. This beautiful flat was clean and well stocked. The quiet location in Stockbridge was within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants as well as buses into the city center. It was a bit tricky getting large suitcases down the curved stairs to the entrance, but otherwise it was a delightful place to center our visit to Edinburgh!"

"It was comfortable and well equipped. It was generally clean but not deep cleaned. Example: the shower drained slowly and the drain not cleaned properly; kitchen washing up brushes needed replacing; the outside of the windows were not clean. Location ideal for Holyrood park and the Royal mile. Kitchen was well equipped for self catering. Area was quiet and no noise from the apartment block which was a small block. "This place was perfect for our needs. The staff was friendly and beyond helpful. The room is very small, and requires some strategy to utilize it well. Not a drawback, just the truth. Not a drawback if you plan to spend little to no time in your room. My only complaint is the bedding. It consisted of a duvet and that is all. No top sheet between you and the duvet. So if you get hot, only choice is to remove the duvet and lie uncovered. It made for some clammy sleeping and wakeful nights."

"Super convenient to all bus tours right across the street! Hotel is lovely! I will say the furnishings in the room were slightly worn, but everything else was great, clean and super comfortable and roomy! No outlets at the bed side so charging devices was a bit inconvenient, though there are other outlets in the room. Air conditioning was great as we prefer sleeping cool. Elevator could be slow but one is being replaced so only one was in operation. There is an entrance near the train station level which is super convenient. However, we missed this upon arrival as it wasn’t clearly marked that we could see. So watch for it carefully if you’re exiting the train station as it will save you from an inconvenient uphill walk with luggage!! The restaurant is delicious and lovely. I wish there was outdoor seating for dining and relaxing. It is very walkable to many stores and restaurants, but the city in general is VERY hilly. Ubers can take a while but no more than 20 minutes in our experience. Nice bar and lounge seating. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend!"

"This hotel is within easy walking distance from the train station, right on the main avenue, in the direction of the museum and across the street from the park. The plus factors for us also included a room with a view, air conditioning [it was unusually hot during the daytime] and windows that open if you prefer the night air, a large desk and a small sofa, The bed was comfortable and the shower was excellent. It was important to us that it has an excellent restaurant for dinner, and the included breakfast was packed with variety. There are 2 large, modern elevators, a bar as well as the restaurant, and friendly staff."

"The hotel is centrally ln Edinburgh within walking distance to Edinburgh Castke and a few hundred feet of the Royal Mile. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and very clean. There fresh fudge in the lobby area. I had some everyday! So delicious, The hotel is located across the street from the train station making it very convenient for our early train to London. Would definitely stay here again if coming Edinburgh,"
