Be warned. Property advertises "Ocean Views" with beautiful ocean view images. This was the deciding factor in booking this property. Upon arrival there were no ocean views just city views. Reception stated there were NO ocean views for hire and stating that it was just unfortunate as it was not their fault the property was advertised as "Ocean Views". Property refused refund or any compensation.

The property is really well kept, clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come again. The views are spectacular! The only slight downside is the kitchen was not very well stocked so plenty of washing-up in order to reuse things. Be aware there are only the basics in terms of cooking/serving, if you like to cook. No pantry staples, or food wrap etc - you need to bring everything. It's not a big deal if you already know in advance, but we didn't.

2nd year staying at Burleigh Boardwalk, love the location 3 min walk to restaurants, food, cafes, coffee, 30 sec walk to beach across the road. 1 hour drive to Brissy, 15 min drive to Pacific Fair Shopping centre, 20 min drive to Wet n Wild. Accomo is nice, clean, has everything you need, pool is great but more seats around pool when it is busy would be great, you need to get in early to get a spot to lay, but there is a lovely grassed area you can lay on which is nice to get the QLD sun. Only downside the last 2 years they are building a complex next door so the construction does start early and does wake you up if you arent an early riser, but being in QLD the sun come sup early. The windows are double glazed which helped with the noise from the site, but it didnt hinder our stay , we will be back again next year.

The Boardwalk property itself is beautifully landscaped & clean. As for the host of Apt 23, NO instructions whatsoever were left for guests to help maneuver anything in & around the flat or building which is highly dependent upon a key & toggle system. You cannot do anything without either. It would have been nice to have instructions how to work the TV in the Lounge Rm. TV remained unprogrammed so we couldn't watch. Same with the Wifi password which wasn't provided because there was no note left. The kitchen didn't have regular appliances you could normally figure out. Once again, no note was left so we had to spend too much time working out the stovetop & dishwasher to get it going. The kitchen itself had VERY basic & only a few saucepans. Missing were basics like a dish sponge, & there were no paper towels, no cutting board, & no veggie peeler, etc. Our stay was 4 days & we were provided 1-1/4 rolls of toilet paper in total. The air con was sealed off with tape. The heater at night did not go on! Again, NO instructions how to work the little remotes to turn on/off these devices, anyway! IF there was a housekeeping svc, NONE was made known or offered to us in the 4 days of staying there. I think for the cost, there are far better places to stay other than Apt 23 Boardwalk Burleigh. Perhaps it was only this host in Apt 23 but he/she needs to step up. Even their bath toiletries were the cheapest & they smelled badly so we did not use them! This is our HONEST review.

The apartment needs to be cleaned. It was very dusty throughout the whole property with previous tenants rubbish in cupboards. No blankets and bedding tired and needs replacing. We paid premium prices for an apartment that needs cleaning and upgrading of bedding.
