"This is an exceptional property and a very grand and historical place to stay in Colombo. We had a wonderful time here and it was always a joy to return to the comfort of the hotel. The facilities are extensive and the location by the Indian Ocean is superb. The extensive public areas and dining options are very good reasons to spend a lot of time here. "I just had a 48 hour layover between London and Melbourne so spent 2 days at the hotel by the beach - couldn't fault the stay. One issue with a flooding shower on night 1 but they fixed it immediately and couldn't have been more helpful. Would stay again."
