"Room was clean and good size. Bathroom was very nice and modern. The lobby was under repair and boarded off, felt tight and quite drab and there was no warning beforehand of the lobby renovation. Hopefully the redesign is better appointed. "

"Great stay at Hotel Riu Plaza in Toronto. This is a new hotel so everything is in great shape. They have a neat little bar/lounge area as you walk in with several workers there to greet & help you. Room was actually larger than we expected. We used the app to get specific room services only when we needed them. Room amenities were great. Breakfast was phenomenal for choices & run very smoothly with a host/hostess seating you. A small suggestion is to have some sort of night light in the bathroom. With the sliding door (a bit noisy) & it being very dark in the room, going to the bathroom in the night without waking others is a challenge. Another minor issue is that the doors close hard so there is quite a bit of inadvertent slamming in the mornings (especially with that wonderful breakfast being a huge draw). We hope to be back - it helped that despite everything amazing about this hotel, including its location near TIFF, we got a very reasonable price on hotels.com. Completely satisfied. Thank you hotel Riu."

"The fitness room was closed for renos, but it was possible to use a nearby fitness club. The pool was open."

"It was perfect! The room was clean and nice, had everything we needed. The bedding was comfortable and toiletries lasted a week. It was spacious and with lots of natural light, and the lamps were perfect too. Really liked the two full length mirrors! Wished the shower had a detachable head, but it was fine otherwise. The h/c system was easy to use and temps matched the numbers which was great! We liked the security system, we felt safe and the customized codes were a great idea! We aslo loved the location, it's close to almost everything, sightseeing and food! Loved the lockers they provide, they had different sizes and were easy to lock. The staff were awesome, very friendly and helpful! We loved our stay and will definitely book at Nester again :)"
