"Everything went pretty well with our stay! It was just me and my sister and this felt like a very safe hotel. The hotel was pretty clean. My sister did see that there was some holes in her bedsheets, but I’m sure that was just a one off thing. The breakfast in the morning was good, they have a waffle maker and a couple of hot options along with your standard hotel breakfast stuff, like bagels and cereal and fruit. Parking was super easy and available at the hotel so there was no problems there. We didn’t use any other amenities so I can’t speak for the pool or the gym. A very nice stay overall!!"

"Reserved a king but ended up with 2 queen beds. Hotel offered complimentary breakfast the next morning however wasn't able to use it due to a conference start time. Magnifying mirror on the wall in the bathroom had become unscrewed and was falling down. Otherwise 4.5 out of 5 stars. I've stayed here before and will continue to stay here when I'm in Grand Rapids"

"Stayed one night while in town for a show as a solo traveler. The hotel is clean, the beds comfortable. I enjoyed the outdoor pool and it’s always a bonus to have the kickback happy hour and dinner included!"

Amway Grand Plaza, Curio Collection by Hilton

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Amway Grand Plaza overall. The location is fantastic, and having so many excellent restaurants and bars right inside the hotel is a huge plus. We had dinner at Wolfgang Puck and MDRD during our stay, and both were absolutely amazing. MDRD in particular made for a memorable evening and was one of the highlights of our weekend. Where the hotel fell short was the condition of the guest room and portions of the property beyond the beautiful main lobby. For a hotel of this caliber and price point, the rooms definitely feel dated and in need of some attention. We had drawers that would not stay closed, areas of wallpaper that were peeling, and some finishes that simply looked tired. Our biggest disappointment was the cleanliness of the exterior windows in the tower. We specifically paid for a room with a river view, but the windows were extremely dirty, which really took away from something we paid extra to enjoy. There is a lot to love about the Amway Grand—the location, atmosphere, restaurants, bars, and overall convenience are excellent. We would stay again, but the guest rooms and tower windows need some attention to bring the accommodations up to the same standard as the hotel’s impressive public spaces and dining experiences."

"Decent place with friendly staff. Housekeeping is limited to 3 times a week. The outside of the building could use some minor touch ups. They have a pool that looked nice, but we did not use. Slightly off the beaten path. Ate at Brann's Steakhouse next door. Would not recommend. The rooms were decent. Nothing that blew us away, but we would stay there again."
