Only 20 mins from our airport parking but if you speak to Peter the manager he can give you advice on parking locally for less. Peter was very friendly and we really rated the breakfast. "The room & bedding were very clean. Beds are quite hard but ok for our 1 night stay. No lift available but we were only on the 2nd floor with not much luggage. Quite a distance from city centre, about a £15 uber ride, but we booked late so not much other availability in that price range. Reception staff very nice & helpful. Overall a satisfactory stay."

"We were given a room in the courtyard area no43, It was small for 2 people It smelled musty and damp The wallpaper on the outside wall was blistered.One end of the radiator, the thermostat end, was tied to the wall with a plastic tie wrap.The window was to high to reach to open There is no lift in the main part of the house or the Courtyard rooms.No43 is on the ground floor"

"I can’t give a good review of this hotel. Our experience didn’t reflect the reviews or images on the website. The common areas of the hotel were very tired looking and our room had loose fittings and looked very unloved. The staff that we saw were kind and helpful. "

"From the moment we arrived till we checked out this hotel delivered. Lovely welcome on arrival, spacious clean room. Comfortable bed, handy fridge, sofa. Delicious buffet breakfast. My preferred eggs were not in the buffet but asked and they were provided no problem. Evening meal was delicious too. Waiting staff very pleasant and helpful. Spa facilities were great. You pay £10 for use of the facilities. Well worth it. Loved the heated beds. Plenty treatments on offer too. Take £1 coin for the lockers. Hotel is set in lovely grounds and is very central for touring the area. Preston 30 mins by bus (no's 40&41) where you can catch a bus or train to many places. Not far from Blackpool, Liverpool, the Lakes, the Dales. We would highly recommend this hotel and would return if in the area."
