"Great base for our family holiday to Caister. Well appointed had everything you would need. Plenty of towels which was good as we needed one in the kitchen for drying hands. Did not mention in advert that was right next door to a pub, most nights this was not an issue as the bedrooms are at the front, but on the Saturday there was a live band in the pub which was very loud and went on until 11.30pm. "Great welcome from our lovely host, and sad that we had to rush back home, could have stayed a few more days. If you want a nice friendly atmosphere and lovely cooked breakfast, then Gable End is the place to stay. The owner made us feel very much at home, and we shall call again most certainly soon. Breakfast was cooked and served by a lovely man who did not keep us waiting and served us as you would expect from a good hotel. Room was nice, new carpet laid down and comfy bed, nice view of the sea. Thanks Gable End for a lovely 2 night stay. 10/10 "
