"This is a beautiful and well equipped apartment for rent - we had everything we needed and the owner had clearly taken a great deal of effort to make the house clean and very user friendly. It is worth noting that the house is in a hamlet with not many amenities so a car is vital - although there is a local bus which passes close. Suggest a small car as the road to the apartment is narrow and steep. If you don't want to drive be prepared to walk up and down the hill. "
"Lovely, charming, quiet. Our room was beautiful. We enjoyed a delicious dinner a short walk down the path that runs just below the Palazzo leading back up to the street to the nearby Hotel Ristorante Pizzeria Helvetia. We watched the sun set on Lake Como, sitting on the private beach owned by the Palazzo and reading until the light was too dim, then looking at the lovely lights around the lake. Breakfast in the courtyard with a custom omelet and variety of selections, all with wonderful service by the family."
"Our family had an incredible stay at this property. The views and the property itself were breathtaking! The terraced vegetable garden was so beautiful to explore and we enjoyed the pool and the solarium with the hot tub very much. We felt very relaxed while on the Villa. Our room was comfortable and spacious for our family of three (two adults and one young adult).
Richard was an incredible host. From the very beginning he made our stay comfortable. He was present to answer any questions and tell a good story. The staff were warm and attentive to any needs we had.
Colonno is a quiet little town and the Villa is certainly a gem! We highly recommend this place and we would love to come back any day!"

"This villa vacation is one that will stay forever in my memory .. the most fantastic location on Lake Como with the most perfect of hosts who was helpful from beginning to end and helped make a milestone birthday celebration memorable and fun.Was difficult even leaving the villa every day as the view there was hard to top. It is just a short boat ride to celebrity homes and I would still prefer the location of this one for privacy and pure views!Don’t stall - Book it. Life is short and we are worth the occasional splurge. This one is 100% worth it!"
