Initial concerns about lack of car parking in the immediate area--as our initial "find" was on a sidewalk--is more related to our unfamiliarity with Portuguese culture than anything else; but they did offer--and we took--a space in a private, gated yard for an additionial 10 Euros."

"We had a ground floor "family room" which was very spacious, recently renovated, nicely designed with a large outdoor terrace. It was fairly close to many attractions of Porto. Good breakfast buffet and friendly staff. The only thing to note is that at the time of our visit, the street in front of the hotel was excavated for underground utilities work."
