"We had a wonderful time at Gran Hotel Salerno. The room was spacious and clean, the staff was very polite and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. There were many gluten free and lactose free options at breakfast. Best of all was the balcony with a view of the sea! We will definitely return!"

it was a pleasure, he only problem is that from there you see the seaside in front, but there is no easy way to get to it, because in front of the hotel it is a military installation

This is a spectacular boutique hotel! The views of the coastline and the floor-to-ceiling windows in the rooms cannot be beat. This is 5-stars for the room views, the service, the updated exquisiteness of the décor, and the added amenities (pool, balconies, outdoor dining, access to oceanfront restaurants, etc. Don’t expect a Sheraton or Hilton type place….this isn’t that, and you shouldn’t be here looking for that here. Great location less than a block from the main plaza. Our room was right next to the elevator and we never heard a sound. Only a few blocks to the train station and bus stops. Many great restaurants nearby. Best breakfast buffet in our whole 26 days in Italy. Left a jacket and they had it sent to our next hotel on Capri for a minimal charge.

Hubby and I spent 4 nights in this great hotel for our 30th anniversary. We arrived early on check in day and the room was not ready. They gave suggestions on having a bite to eat and held our luggage for us. Upon our return, we were ecstatic to find out they upgraded our room! Such a great surprise! I'm sorry I didn't get the names of the ladies that assisted us at check in, but they were fantastic and the upgrade was so appreciated. Margarita was extremely helpful and so very sweet at...

We had a long day of travel from Venice to Salerno and this was the perfect hotel! It was walkable from the train station, the room was big and we did have a balcony. The continental breakfast was great - with some good croissants. There are also many different cafes and shops nearby. We were able to walk less than a mile to take a ferry to Positano. I would highly recommend if you are using transportation and want something convenient.

Great staff- friendly, helpful with planning our day and referring us to local places based in what we requested or were looking for. Nice little bar. Great morning breakfast buffet. Nice pool area and patio in front of hotel to enjoy a cocktail. Beautiful views of the ocean. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel offers modern eclectic decor. Very unique... Including multicolored lights in the bathroom shower area.
Friendly staff and great restaurants that are walkable.. The hotel offered and organized a trip to a local restaurant high up in Positano called Da Costantino. Well worth the visit. Fantastic views. The tiramisu was really good.
Great bar area which also offers a full buffet breakfast for €25/day. Alternatively, you can order off the à la carte menu, which includes omelettes, coffee,...

We stayed here recently, family of four with two kids. The hotel is neat and clean, modern looking and the the food is amazing, especially the buffet breakfast which is included in the price. The location can't be beat, it's right in front of the pompei ruins and there are awesome food places right near the hotel. The staff were amazing too. I would love to stay again at this hotel.
