"Room was clean and just what we needed. Staff were helpful, however when attending for breakfast I was told ‘it’s closing’ rather than just offered a seat, when breakfast was due to be open for another hour. We then also had a small bite in the lounge area the next day, and the food took nearly 40mins. We used the spa facilities, and these are always great. The room was comfy and just as we would expect. It’s the second time we have stayed, and would go back again. "

"From the moment I drive into this charming property I felt warmly welcomed. The room was large and well appointed with a renovated bathroom. Dinner in the dining room was delicious. And a walk on the grounds ended a perfect stay!"

"Such a lovely hotel. Our room was pretty worn looking but clean. To make it a really top stay I'd say some updating of rooms in necessary but we loved our time there. GREAT food and fabulous staff and the hotel is in a beautiful setting. Really worth being based here to travel to Oxford and surrounding areas. "
