Very clean, large shower room. Almere itself is a modern town but felt safe and clean, the Grote Markt square was very happening, with numerous restaurants and bars around it. Close to station, some reviewers even used it as a base for Amsterdam."

"What a lovely hotel this is! Very helpful and friendly staff, about 25 minute walk to the centre of town. It has a large bar/ restaurant/ lounge area where we could sit in the evenings. Breakfast was nice, a lot of choice. We had dinner there one night which was delicious. We hired a bike, and there is plenty of space to store your own bikes. "

This year the reception desk has been turned into a self service with help provided by friendly staff. Not sure this is an upgrade but it didn't detect from the experience."
