"Cold and noisy"

"Hotel is central & ideally located for the train or bus station. Friendly staff & the room was clean. Lots of quality options at breakfast & in the bar restaurant. "

"The room I had was in the old part of the hotel and was noisy, very cold and in need of a refurb - curtains didn't fit, heavily stained carpet and generally tired. Food and service was good as were the team. Handy for the motorway but not sure I would stay again"

"very tired hotel - they are currently doing works in the lobby which looks to be a lick of paint and tiling. the rooms are really tired though, with no temperature control and no ability to open windows - cue awful night's sleep due to the room being very stuffy. can tell it was once a lovely hotel with good amenities when it was built, but everything is very shabby now and the new Radisson around the corner shows it up"

"We would highly recommend. Great spacious room and ensuite with double shower. Excellent amenities in the room. Very comfortable bed.safe and quiet. Easy parking."

"Plenty of parking, room nice and quiet. Mattresses were comfy but the single beds felt very narrow also the legs of the bed were angled out and because of the dark colour too, a few stubbed painful toes! Food was a bit on the pricey side £8 for a portion of sweet potato fries! Breakfast was nice, enough choice. And the shower was nice and powerful. "

"Room was really clean and maids were in every day. Carpets in corridors looked very new and clean. Good variety at breakfast. "

"Great room, clean (albeit smelled a bit musty, probably from an old hoover!) but bedding, bathroom - all other facilities were spotless. Bed was comfy, especially if you like a softer bed. TV was even on a movable bracket - always useful. Would certainly stay again given its location to the city too."
