A telephone in the room and an early morning call service would be really helpful. Shower was excellent and invigorating. Will stay again when next travelling this way in June"

"I am not impressed by lofty entrance foyers or grand ballrooms, or a million facilities I never have time to use. The Travelodge is in a converted office block. This provides good clean quiet basic accommodation with no frills you don't want. I stayed in a family room with my girlfriend while touring Nottingham and it was great, and very cheap (under 30 pounds for the room for both of us), cheaper than B&B. The room was very clean and in good condition, better than some 4 stars i have been in....

"A mixed experience at this hotel. Essentially it was a great hotel... but someone seems to have stopped spending any money on maintaining it a while back. On arrival we happened to see a small sign informing us we had to pay for parking - only £3 but the stay started with a negative! The air conditioning didn't work and when we asked about it we were told it wasn't supported any more. The room was stifflingly hot and the windows 'for our safety' didn't open very far. Presumably some clients...
