The room was nice and big although in need of decorating with ripped off wallpaper and holes in the bathroom, plus the TV didn't work, which I presume the guy behind the bar knew as he didn't seem interested when we told him. "One thing marks down the property. Breakfast was not complete. We went for dinner at the White Hart and they had gluten free cereals. I had to ask for orange juice at breakfast. Also, we came back at 22:50 on a Friday night and asked for a beer. We were refused but another resident was served beer. There doesn’t seem to be consistency on food menus or services across the group pubs."

"When I arrived I was shown to my room by the owner who was very friendly, but as soon as we entered the room she noticed the bathroom was flooded. She explained that one of the staff members had been fiddling with a pressure reducing valve and it must have caused the shower to run with the door open. They cleared the water up, but the carpet was wet through by the bathroom door and the room smelt damp all night. Next morning I went to breakfast an hour before I needed to leave. I waited 45...

"A very special place to stay as this was the family home of Florence Nightingale. We stayed in two bedrooms which were the rooms that she grew up in before she went to Crimea. This is not a hotel. It’s more of a guest house with a few of the rooms rented out on a nightly basis. The property is accessed through several gates so it’s on very private land. The views are amazing of the local countryside and there’s a very beautiful garden around the house and sheep in the fields a little further...

"We were very well looked after by Shaan & Sef who must be the one prepared our breakfast which was freshly made and ample every morning . The room was clean and spacious enough for us & our dog Rocky. Tumbleweed is a good place to stay for a few days to visit the local attractions, such as Sherwood Forest, nearby. It is a heaven for dog owners and joggers. I jogged with my dog along the Well Lane & The Avenue every morning and walked my dog on the couple of bridal ways nearby in the evening....
