"It’s so hard to find pet friendly properties but this one was perfect. Beautiful little cottage and walking distance to the water. Great location. Right in the middle of everything on the island. Our host was very accommodating. The cottage was furnished with everything we needed. We had a great trip. "

"This was a very clean and cozy cottage. We went shelling on Cape Lookout and had a great dinner at Fish Hook Grill.We will stay longer next time and bring the boat, boat ramp is across the street!"

"Really liked the size and level of upkeep. Great location. Did not like the adjacent boat building warehouse which was damaged by tornado in 2024 but left unrepaired. Loose metal roof sheets threatening to blow loose dampened time outside. The adjacent restaurant is a major reason to stay here with great food and atmosphere. Love Harkers for a non-beach coastal environment with Cape Lookout and local museums of decoys and down east communities. "
