"BEWARE!!! This was terrible. It’s not a hotel by any means. Located in a bad neighborhood, there is no one there to greet you. We stood on a rotting porch for 15 minutes after ringing the ring doorbell only to be told someone would be there in 2 minutes. The smoke alarm dead battery screech coming from inside told me enough. "When we first arrived, we were given a room that smelled like smoke. It is a non-smoking Hotel. We went back down to the desk and they gave us another room. When we reached the second room, it was occupied. Went back down again this time they sent somebody up to make sure that the room was clean and unoccupied. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Dud not care for the pillows.Loved the restaurant at the hotel, Medallion. Excellent food prices were very reasonable. They had the best paella I have ever tasted . Hotel Staff was very polite and helpful even though we encountered a few bumps upon arrival."

"To start with I have stain many times in different hotels however, this building is so old that needs to be rebuild back again. The staff is not helpful the rooms they’re old and they stink. They do not clean your room unless you ask the service is terrible even though so that is close to the city of New York. At least they should keep it neat and clean. It’s a new owner as I understand but the building is extremely extremely old and then on the top of that is really terrible in the floors and everything that you can think of, so I hope that your company do not recommend these hotel at that location anymore. The bathroom the top was terrible ugly with black spots anyway I did survive because I knew right there and then that I was not gonna get my money back, but I will never ever recommend this place to anyone anymore or anyone."
