"The people at Acadia were simply the best. Kind, courteous and helpful are the top 3 words that come to mind, but there are many others that could be used to describe the excellent service. The inn is situated at the head of a small bay and the beach and rocks are a pleasure to walk or just sit and enjoy he view. We highly recommend the his quiet, quaint and quality place to visit."

"This house lives up to its billing and reviews.  The isolation- even from neighbors- was wonderful, and the cabin quite comfortable.  Everything was nice and new.  We were impressed with the size of the kitchen, and were able to cook some elaborate meals.  The one night we didn't have cloud cover the sky was mind-blowing.  Even though the house is 500 road miles from our home, it's likely we'll come back."

"For the last 20 or so years we have rented houses in downeast Maine-three couples who have been friends for far longer. This house was one of the most well thought out, with comfortable furnishings in good condition, beautiful harbor views, and a well equipped kitchen which is as big as it looks in the photos.
