"Lots to do around the hotel. Not as close to the train station as other hotels I have stayed in. If it weren’t the ending of July and super hot that wouldn’t have seemed as bad. Hotel was nice. Rooms were bigger than expected."

"I knowingly booked a room that was very small, but also reasonably priced. It was very clean and sufficient for a place to sleep after spending a long day visiting sites around Tokyo. It would have been too tight, however, if there had been two of us."

"The hotel is very clean and very nice! Not too big, but also not too small of a building. The room itself was on the smaller side, but considering as it was just me, it was totally fine. As a solo female traveler, I always felt safe in the hotel and in the surrounding area. It’s in the quieter part of the Shinjuku area, so noise or heavy street activity was never an issue. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the 2 closest subway stops (Nishi Shinjuku & Tochomae), and is conveniently located near plenty of good food options. Also a plus that there’s a 7-11 directly below the hotel, for easy access to last minute needs and snacks. Overall I enjoyed my stay!"

"The hotel itself is excellent--the rooms are quiet and clean, the staff are excellent, and the breakfast spread is also very good. This hotel does have 24h locked security, however, as it's in a pretty rough area of town. Tbere is a lot of dining and other entertainment close to the hotel, and its very walkable. That said, as a solo traveller, the roughness of the area was intimidating."
