"This stay was great. We had all the necessities available and the room was very comfortable. It was one stop from Odawara station. My only suggestion is to keep in mind the amount of luggage you are taking, the room is on the fourth floor. "

"The fully contained apartment was a pleasure to stay in. It was private, comfortable and uniquely Japanese.for a split level space. There were plenty of futon beds and the kitchen had all that we needed. The attic bedroom was comfortable but does not have standing room. Thank you for a unique Japanese stay."

"I stayed in this very nice apartment. Everything is very new and very nice. It is small, but it was fine for me by myself. Be aware there is no parking on the premises and I ended up parking my car twenty minutes away by foot (it was hard to find any paid parking). There are also no shops close by (convenience store, super market, restaurants, etc.), so you will need to walk for everything. Owner was very helpful when I had questions and when I needed to extend my stay by a night."

"It was one of my best hotel stays. It was expensive but it's totally worth it. You felt welcome the moment you stepped off the shuttle. Hotel staffs were great and attentive. The breakfast and dinner buffets were amazing, food quality and selection were all top notch. Onsen on the 5th and 6th floor, got to try both of them to feel the different atmosphere. Foot spa at the main floor. If you need privacy, tub and swing chair on your balcony is another option. Love everything, definitely will go back again! "

"This hotel is amazing. Got the private onsen bath which is clean and amazing, polite and friendly staff - always feel comfortable with the service, everything in the room is clean and neat, really good views, also buffet dinner is offered with a variety of delicious options, no convenience stores in walking distance but that isn't important compared to the experience."

"We enjoyed our stay at Ichinoyu a lot, room is very comfortable and newly renovated. The welcome drink and meals really showcase the hospitality of Japanese high standard. We felt being very well taken care of. Onsen environment is very peaceful, I spent the whole afternoon there looking at the trees and listening to birds sing. We had a great time and will definitely come back next time we are in Hakone."

"All staff were very friendly, the facility was clean, and there were plenty of amenities. The outside hot tub was very nice. The hotel is located far from Gora Station. If you have large luggage and need a ride to the station, you should book the hotel ride as soon as you check in. Otherwise, there are no taxis available in the morning. "

"The front desk staff (Ms. Ayu) is amazing. She checked us in very quick, helped to provide dining options, gave information on how to take local transportation to Kawaguchiko and even came to our room to provide utensils for my family to enjoy our dinner in iur room. The onsen was very nice and breakfast was really really good. "
