"The price at the bar was horrendous £11 for a glass of pressecco and £8 for a pint of lager. Thers no need to charge this much with the volume of people going to a wedding. They have got your pants down really. Needs to be better signage for each wedding party as guests were in the wrong wedding. The furniture in the wedding venues very poor ...chairs were so wobbly not safe at all. The hotel itself is lovely the rooms are spacious clean and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was really nice . Needs some attention in the waiting areas to go into the wedding."

"This was an enjoyable stay in a beautiful hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was excellent, lovely and clean with a very large room. If I had any criticism, it would be a very minor one, where the towel holder and toilet roll holder was loose. But that’s taking nothing away from a lovely place to stay."

"Check in takes a ridiculously long time (over 25mins for 3 people), ask for ID unnecessarily, room was not cleaned to a decent standard, stagnant water left in kettle and coffee machine and someone’s clothes left in wardrobe. Bathroom was covered in paint and grout from some recent work and everything looked a bodge job from shower to toilet flush and taps. Only redeeming feature was size of room and bed was comfortable. Be aware bar opposite plays very loud music from early evening through to early hours."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It’s a lovely historic building and the current owners have done a great job on the decor. The hosts and their staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful and the food was very good. We really couldn’t fault anything and if we’re travelling this way again we would definitely book again."

"Booked this hotel as a part way kne night stopover. On arrival we were welcomed at reception by Chad who checked us in and gave us a comprehensive guide to everything in the hotel. Our bedroom was huge and very clean. We made our way to the restaurant and had a nice meal cooked for us by a young lady who I sadly didn't her name. We had a hood nights sleep followed by a real nice breakfast. Best of all was the price of £62 including breakfast. I would like to add that Chad was very informative, helpful and is a credit to thus hotel. We would certainly stay here again."
