"The first room we checked into was next to an internal door which kept being slammed by noisy guests. We were moved to another room by a lovely and helpful member of staff without any hesitation. The second room was an upgrade from the first one and was in a much quieter part of the hotel so we are very appreciative of that. The staff were lovely, friendly and accommodating.the location is perfect next to the river and the outdoor space was great (was a lively still and sunny day). Breakfast was plentiful, hot and delicious. "

"Fabulous boutique-feel hotel in the middle of Hexham opposite the park. Delightful staff and great bar that opens up on to the pavements. Good restaurant. "

"Medi, the chef, and his wife, Daniella, run the Inn and gave us both a warm, friendly welcome. The room was tidy and clean and we both had good night's sleeps even though the room was above the pub..I recommend Medi's Eggs Benedict which was fantastic and he also catered in the evening with great home made food - I had the best fish and chips I've had for many a year..I'd recommend the Sunday roast too which was awesome and over generous...and reasonably priced... Next time we're in the area we'll definitely go back.."

"As a hiker on the Hadrians Wall trail, this venue had everything; good food, good beer and a good drying room. After a wet walk this was most welcome. This place was very convenient on the Wall trail and would highly recommend. "

"We fell in love with this property and wish we could have extended our stay for at least a few more days, but we had other plans to move on to. The beautiful home is set upon a hill with amazing views of the countryside. We were able to really disconnect, and traveled to some local places to sightsee within nature, and into town for some dinner (plenty of options in the neighboring villages). The house had everything possible that you could need, to feel comfortable and at home. Loved that you could have all the windows open to let in all the light and see the stunning views, or close the shades and get some restful sleep. You can also enjoy the hiking paths nearby or just sit and watch the adorable family of rabbits nibble at the grass and chase each other around, and cows grazing nearby. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back next time we’re in beautiful Northumberland!"
