It is quirky and still has the feel of buildings that were designed at the time - it has great character, is very comfortable and ideally situated in the city centre. The management clearly take a lot of pride in the hotel. Great place. "

"We stayed at the Royal Leanardo prior to our cruise disembarking from Southampton. The hotel is within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. We found all the staff friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and our bed was comfortable. We would recommend a stay here for anyone prior to a cruise. The concierge arranged taxi reservations and the coordination of transportation to the cruise terminal for the guests. This was helpful."
