"We booked/paid extra for superior rooms with view. Oblique river view, standard room. Worst was no air conditioning in 31 C weather. Given standing fan. No air exchangers in pool area. Hot humid dirty windows and peeling paint and bad smell in sauna. Hall carpets are frayed and worn, and no coffee in rooms. Instead you get thermos coffee in paper cups in the lobby like a gas station. We have stayed in many Marriott hotels, I hardly have the words to say how bad this one is. Some staff are good, others clearly are embarrassed and state just following hotel policy. Very"
