"From the moment myself, my daughter and mother arrived we totally relaxed, the hotel has a very tranquil feeling, the grounds are beautiful, the staff are professional and friendly. We stayed in the Rokeby Suite which was spacious, tastefully decorated and very comfortable, the attention to detail with the toiletries and the soft fluffy towels in the bathroom gave the feeling of luxury. The breakfast had plenty of choice and was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay whilst we were visiting The Harry Potter Studios, the only negative was when we checked in the lady behind the desk didn't give us any information about the facilities in the hotel eg the pool or about the times of meals within the hotel, she basically gave us our keys and told us where the room was, it would have been nice to have been a little more forth coming with extra information, instead of us having to enquire ourselves. We would love to come back for a longer visit sometime in the future. "

"I met the Manager, Tony, at reception who helped me sign my vehicle in as i'd forgotten my glasses, what a super ambassador for the company he is, he alone would bring me back to Hemel again. All the staff were so professional with no request being to much. Abby was the dining room manager the first night i ate and again so professional and efficient. The same was with Debbie who greeted me at breakfast with a warm smile and advice. All three people mentioned were a delight to engage with but as i've said all the staff were exemplary especially with their patience and professionalism when presented with, in my opinion, difficult and unfair demands as some clients can be. I was pleased with the amount of parking available with plenty of choice, my two day stay from Devon was for a local family funeral the hotel and staff made a very pleasant part of a sad occasion. "This is a hidden gem of a B&B. The room was comfortable and clean with good in-room facilities (tea and coffee; toiletries; trouser press; iron and ironing board; hairdryer). The people were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was of excellent - good food and good value for money. In fact, we had not realised that the continental breakfast was included in the price for the room. A cooked breakfast was extra but very reasonably priced with several options. Overall a very enjoyable stay and a place we are happy to use again when we stay in the area. "
