"The room was so clean, I assume it was also spacious by Tokyo standards. First time in a long time that the King sized bed actually matched the description. Totally welcoming and inclusive to us, a gay couple. Super centrally located: we walked everywhere. Across the street from a 7/11, 10 minute walk to the train station.
I will say, if you don’t know, Kabuchiko where this is located (technically distinct from Shinjuku proper) is the Red Light District. Arrived late at night and found out that there is a lot of sexual soliciting in front of the hotel. This area is busy during the day and night, but the tone changes a lot.
Hotel staff was kind and polite, they cleaned the room everyday. Amazing view from our room."
