"This cottage is ideally located 4 minutes' walk halfway between the bus garage and the historic area of Hexham, and just 10 minutes from the station. There are plenty of eating places and takeaways nearby and a convenience store just a couple of minutes seat. The cottage itself was immaculate, well-equipped and beautifully furnished, with high quality towels and linen and toiletries. To correct an earlier review, there is a potato peeler. "The Dakota is a fabulous place to stay! I truly did not want to leave the hotel. The hotel is new and it is beautifully decorated. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. The room was comfortable and cozy. Unfortunately, we did get a chance to dine at the hotel. We did however have a cocktail and snacks. They were perfectly made and delicious. I would recommend to anyone a stay at The Dakota. "
