"The views from the pool are spectacular. I could hear the birds all around and listen to the wind through the trees while relaxing in the hot tub with my morning coffee. The home was furnished with all the essentials in the kitchen and throughout. There are lots of pool towels and floaties (bring a pump). The beds were all very comfortable. All of the bedrooms and large common area are perfect for a large family of 12 gathering. The kids spent most of their time in the pool and with the layout of the living room and kitchen windows, you can see the pool from inside. Deer frequent the area, as well as neighbors on their ATVs and golf carts. The road runs in front of the property, but the pool is elevated enough I wasn’t bothered by the traffic. There wasn’t much of it anyway being a residential road in a small town. We were able to get Uber Eats when we wanted, and there are restaurants in town that deliver. Down the road towards town, there’s a gas station and a donut shop that has fantastic fresh donuts and breakfast kolaches. The grocery store in town was convenient. The Taco Bar was a great stop too. The lake was a short walk from the property. We noticed several people fishing off the shore. The host was very responsive to our needs. He was easy to get in touch with. "

"We had a wonderful week at our stone cabin by the lake! So quiet…saw lots of deer, jackrabbits, Egyptian Geese, cranes and a visit every morning from a hummingbird! Went fishing on the dock and caught little perch. Walked our dogs countless times each day. Watched a full moon rise over the lake…we were in another world!Mike is great! We like him a lot and he made us feel very welcome. He has kept this rustic gem thriving in the midst of ultra modern rentals.We will be back!"

"House was clean, with a lot of room for the 7 adults and 4 kids in our group. It has a great view from the rear patio decks."

"Our stay was two nights and overall the room seemed clean. It was when I cleaned the kitchen floor upon our check out. My cleaning rag was black! The floor looked clean but was not. The outdoor patio furniture was full of pet hair. The place had minor issues and seemed to be neglected. Such as, no hot water in kitchen, bathtub did not hold water, the toilet barely flushed and it took a long time to fill up again, clothes iron broken on its surface and snagged my clothes, several lightbulbs burnt out and the toaster did not work. On the other hand, the host was helpful and on top of any concerns we had. Response time was fast. The view was lovely and the pool was great! The sunset was breathtaking! Gym was fantastic and the staff on property were very friendly. "
