"The yard shown in listing picture is not accurate. There is a new house next door and only a tiny strip of grass for dogs to potty on. The AC unit dripped into the potty area creating a muddy mess. Lots of stairs loading and unloading. AC issues throughout house and wouldn’t cool properly. Host wanted me to accommodate for their repair man to come which while I appreciate wanting to make the house more comfortable, that is not what I paid to have a vacation for. Especially with guests and dogs in the house. Host was understanding when I asked for them to delay the repair work until we were gone, which I appreciated."

"We are the Lovato Family from Tucson, AZ! We had never heard of Horseshoe Bay before, but it truly is a hidden gem. The arrival process was seamless. My husband brought his bass boat, and the host provided clear instructions for the marina, which made everything easy. The layout of the home was perfect, with two master bedrooms, and everything was spotless! The location of this property is perfect, right on the lake with access to a boat slip. One of the best perks was having access to the community condominium pool, which was clean, quiet, and only about a two minute walk away. It often felt like we had the pool all to ourselves.I spent most of my time on the patio, which is huge and east facing, so it never sat in direct sun. The dock quickly became our favorite spot where we spent hours fishing and relaxing. We spent our days paddleboarding, floating, listening to music, and simply enjoying the slow, peaceful pace. We rarely left because everything we needed was right there.Of course, we left two items behind, but the host quickly found them and is helping us arrange their return, which we truly appreciate.This ended up being the best family vacation we have ever had. We are making plans to come back again next summer. Overall, I want to sincerely thank the hosts. In a community filled with private homes, this townhome is a rare find, and we are so grateful for the opportunity to experience it."
