"Beautiful artistically decorated rooms. Very cool. Free breakfast was ordering a breakfast bag - choices were typical continental. I misunderstood so didn’t get a bag. Better yet I went to a cool local restaurant for breakfast. Cell service was weak so that was frustrating. No maid service unless you ask for it but didn’t really need it. I loved this hotel. There are 2 Roxburys. Ours was the one near the Old Mill Restaurant which we loved. "

"We were in the area with a thousand or so families for the Cooperstown baseball tournament. We weren’t excited about staying in a big hotel for 9 days. Based on reviews we chose this small (15 unit) motel with a kitchenette just 5 miles south of the tournament. There is a convenience store in front of the motel. It was very peaceful and quiet. I sat on the patio outside my room and enjoyed the view of the fields and mountains while reading a book. Paul and his dad own the motel and are a picture of hard working people investing in their dream and working hard to insure their guests have a good experience. I would describe the rooms as quaint and would highly recommend booking here. You can make your own breakfast in the room or go to Jackie’s less than a mile north as you head to the baseball park. Paul was an excellent host. "

"Stayed 2 nights to visit the baseball Hall of Fame. Size of room and bathroom were really nice. Gave us ample space to relax and get ready for the day. We were on a 14 day motorcycle trip and my wife was happy to enjoy a bath since the room had a tub. Bed was very comfortable. Wonderful breakfast options and super friendly staff. Will definitely recommend and stay here again. "

"Beautiful place, view is prime. The outdoor fire is awesome, the perfect spot to gather around. The myriad games are such great things to have. We left once over 3 days/nights. Owner and manager are super friendly and made the process seamless. Would definitely stay here again."

"Without hesitation the front desk attendant asked me if I would like to switch to a ground floor room because he OBSERVED me and my cart with bags moving slowly. I did not have to ask or complain… I was asked…so in a second we exchanged keys and went from 205 to 109. That is an employee who cares about your stay!! Thank you!"
