"The Lodge was one of five in a block at end of the car park. In front of the lodges were small areas of grass with benches and then a short fence behind which you parked your car. Having mobility issues I loved how close I was able to park to the lodge. The lodge clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was two small croissants in clear sealed packet with butter and jam, yoghurt and a carton of squash. I was also given fresh milk. Tea and coffee was already in the lodge. You were also given small packets of cereal but again no choice offered. I also wasn't asked what flavour yoghurt or squash. However, the food was welcomed as it saved money. Cooked breakfast would have been expensive in the pub. I stayed two nights. The staff in pub were extremely helpful for the whole duration of my stay. It was a great place to stay. "

"The bedroom was a wonderful, quirky room; spotlessly clean with the worlds most comfortable bed and pillows. We had a great couple of nights sleep in this quiet room. Although my preference is a shower the bathroom had a large corner bath which was good. The only slight downside was the rather noisy macerator fitted on the wastewater. The breakfast choice was excellent. The food was freshly made and very tasty. We had an evening meal one night which was also excellent. The presentation and service for all the meals was perfect. The bar had a jolly atmosphere with a fine range of local ales and wines. It was attended by a mixture of local people and visitors. There is a limited range of free on-site parking which I was lucky enough to take advantage of. I would gladly stay here next time I'm in the area and I'd recommend The Woolpack to anyone looking for a good value and comfortable place to stay. "

"Staff were absolutely incredible. Dianna on reception was courteous, polite and ever so helpful. Thank you for making me feel like home during my stay. Dianna and her amazing team even helped out by washing and drying some clothing. Mid way through my work trip it was as a relief to know I had clean business and personal clothing. The young bar staff were also very kind and welcoming. "

"This hotel is a gem! Friendly, helpful staff who really care about yoyr opinion. Room was lovely. Spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Real bonus was the award winning Raja of Kent restaurant on the same site. Excellent food and run by the same lovely family. "
