"Friendly and tentative staff. Food and drink was delicious, although drinks were rather expensive. We loved the spa and really enjoyed spending some much needed relaxation time in the sauna."

Our room key was giving us a lot of problems so the hotel staff was not accommodating and changing our room, there was a resort fee for using the spa and other facilities and also extending the check out by one hour. This should be part of the facility and we should not have been charged extra "

"Lovely building and location - out of the busy but not too far! Nicely decorated and furnished albeit it does feel like a walk if you’re in one of the 400+ numbered rooms! Ate in the brasserie one evening food was good but the battered fish, whilst plentiful, was maybe a bit “soggy”. The breakfasts were excellent and if you don’t see anything you like then maybe best stay at home! Room was huge as was the comfy bed. A lot of new staff learning the ropes ahead of the peak season but can’t fault...

"Excellent and charming renovated period buildinh with very responsive communication before and during stay. 15min walk from train station and business terminus and 10min into town center. Beautiful and serene garden and patio. Quality of the rooms and amenities are high/new. ‘Kozy’ rooms are best for short stays as they are truly cozy, especially sinks in the bathroom. For long stays, chose a regular/double."
