"Came for a one night, from Champaign IL for a friends bday party the next day, this has always been one of my favorite hotels to stay when coming to town. It’s always comfortable , there’s always an event that’s going on there which always makes things more exciting . Plus all staff is very warm and pleasant to talk to, and always very helpful; shout out to Enrique who truly helped us on this stay, he was Outstanding!! Will definitely continue to be one of my favorite hotels to stay when I first ."

"The entire hotel smelled amazing, clean but also a nice scent. Also it's been nicely updated, lobby and room. The breakfast was great. Hot or cold, good variety. "

"Absolutely wonderful. It is a beautiful older building but so well maintained and the decor is just lovely. I especially loved how the bathrooms and decor has likely been redone but still probably looks as it did 100 years ago or more - not all modernized or barn-style or whatever all the latest stuff is. The beige / light yellow trim and white tile bathrooms are SO nice. I'll definitely be back. Cassie the server in Poor Phil's restaurant downstairs was very sweet also. Thank you"

"The room needed a serious overhaul in cleaning and repair. I had to be moved to another room. I paid way too much for what I received. "

"Breakfast was ok, hotel was quiet, parking was convenient, the restaurant hours were extremely limited. We arrived shortly before check in and the bar did not open until 30 minutes after check in started than closed at 10, we had an event and could not make it back in time for a night cap. "
