I genuinely don’t understand how this place has the ratings it does. Beds were clean, no bugs but the first thing we saw when we walked in the room was a big greasy handprint on the wall. We laughed it off. Later in the day realized there were yellow liquid streaks down the bathroom wall with mildew in areas and toothpaste splatter on the wall above the sink. We (my sister and I) were visiting for our mothers funeral so we just wanted a place to sleep and didn’t think it was worth even mentioning. On the morning of our 4th and final nights stay the owner became hostile about use not receiving room service during our stay because I requested a roll of toilet paper. We had no idea they considered daily housekeeping to be mandatory, that was never mentioned anywhere. I didn’t care if they wanted to check the room and make sure we weren’t trashing it but we genuinely just wanted to be left alone and due to my sisters migraines didn’t want a bunch of fragrances cleaning supplies being used. To keep things short the owner called the police after my sister politely asked to see their policies so we can avoid an issue like this in the future. Police agreed hotel was being unreasonable but mentioned multiple times they have a lot of issues and it’s a bad area. We were never refunded and we kicked out just hours after burying our mother. STAY AWAY!"
