"First this place was very deciving showing pool and having that it was not open below the booking button thst was decixing !! Next fan in the bedroom does not work, next cut my finger on a sppon with jagged edges while washing dishes this went directly in garbage. We stayed 35 nights oh also no broom no CanopenerWalls all gross by the oven doorways no trim on some areas no coffee table! "I had an amazing stay at Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach. The location is perfect—just steps away from Waikiki Beach, restaurants, and shopping. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable, with beautiful ocean views. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. One of the highlights was the stunning infinity pool and the incredible lobby aquarium, which created a unique and relaxing atmosphere. The resort offers excellent amenities, great dining options, and a true Hawaiian experience. I would highly recommend Alohilani Resort to anyone visiting Waikiki and would definitely stay here again."

"My first comment would be to let visitors know this is a RESORT, not really a hotel. It was required to pay a $65 a day resort fee that needed to be used at the resort restaurants and facilities. If you had hoped to eat at places off site, you had to first be sure to spend your $65 inside the resort. That being said, the menu prices in the resort restaurants were exhorbitant. Our first night we had 2 items and a couple of cocktails. The tab was close to $120. I could buy a 6 pack for what they charge for one beer. This was at the Tapas restaurant, where the furniture was incredibly uncomfortable and hard to sit in. Also, be aware the parking fee was $79 per day ($92 for valet service). Seems excessive. Also, since it's a resort, that means lots of children, and I mean LOTS. If you're a family with young children, I suppose it's a good fit. It wasn't for us. Secondly, I believe there were 5-6 elevators. I know one was out of service. We sometimes had to wait for 3 different elevators opening for one that had room to go to the lobby. They were packed. Very inadequate. The air conditioning system was noisy and made odd whining sounds during the night. The refrigerator was TINY. No microwave. Lastly, we went to check out at 9:45 a.m. and discovered the checkout line was about 20 minutes long and looked like a line at Disney World. 2 staff members assigned to check regular guests out. Completely inadequate. Left a VERY sour taste. We were actually happy to leave!"

"Breakfast saved alot of money. Pool was crowded but that’s to be expected. Great close walk to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. Staff were friendly. The only downside is our room was by the elevators which were very loud. There was also a parking garage across the street that’s alarm was shrill which also kept us up at night. This was not the hotels fault but you want to get a room on the other side of the building."

"This was such a beautiful stay. The balcony views were amazing. All the staff were so kind specially the staff at the pool/bar area. They were so welcoming. The breakfast buffet was delicious ! The best part was having a coffee shop down stairs. Definitely would stay here again."

"The place was great - reason why I scored it 4 stars because we have 2 balconies but we can’t even go out in them since they were doing some work and the noise was loud. Luckily we were out most of the time. That being said - the resort fee was just to much but what’s included like beach chairs beach umbrella, classes that they offer like yoga and activities it would have been worth it but off course you go to Oahu to see places not to stay in hotel and do activities - so we were not able to use them. Plus even if you go to the beach you can find places to sit and hang in the beach. We like that they had several restaurants, several Starbucks, shopping stores in premises. And if you go to excursions one of the stop to pick you up is this hotel. Will come back again if I have a chance to go back in Waikiki. Staff was great as well. Mahalo."
