"My husband and I arrived to the most beautiful villa and beach! Our stay was brilliant. For anyone staying at Sunset Villa, you may notice a beautiful kitty with her nose pressed against the glass patio doors. Her name is Murielle and that is her way of saying good morning. You will hopefully find wet cat food and crunchies in one of the kitchen cabinets. She is a light eater and only eats a teaspoon of wet food!! Rachel the property manager was very helpful and responded immediately to any questions that we had. We are the quintessential flop and drop couple that the location for us was ideal but for those younger and adventurous for excursions and exploring the rest of the island it is just as ideally located. Marie-Laure (the owner) was very helpful during the whole process from booking, arrival questions and departure. We look forward to our return visit! Cheers, Rose & Lee"

"My husband and I had a lovely stay at the Turquoise @ Hoopers Bay Beach. The cottage was immaculately clean and looked exactly like it was pictured on the website. The location was mid-island, which was perfect for exploring the island. Our host was very responsive to the texts we sent and offered great suggestions for outings. We loved the beach area with its shaded area and spent a few lazy afternoons there. Overall, we had an incredibly nice stay at the Turquoise @ Hoopers Bay! I highly recommend staying there."

"Our family stayed at this beautiful VRBO in Hoopers Bay over spring break at the end of April, and we would stay here again and again and again! It was absolutely perfect for our family of four — the size of the home was just right, with comfortable beds, laundry on-site, and literally everything you could possibly need for beach adventures: flippers, snorkel gear, a paddle board, kayak, tons of floats and tubes… you name it, it was there.The beach at Hoopers Bay is stunning — soft sand, calm waters, and just steps away. The location itself couldn’t have been better either — close to the grocery store, the center of town, and as an unexpected bonus, we were there during Regatta Week, which made it even more special! Definitely rent a car, it is worth it.What truly made this stay unforgettable, though, was the hospitality of Eric and Lidia. They are true angels — some of the kindest, most genuine people we’ve ever met. We arrived on Easter Sunday when most restaurants and stores were closed, and they invited us to a picnic at their home. Our kids especially connected with Eric, who took them to cut down coconuts, hosted a beach fire, and patiently answered our curious 8-year-old’s endless questions about island life.Their kindness, warmth, and the love they put into their home shines through in every detail. We left with full hearts and can’t wait to come back. If you’re considering Exuma, this is the place to stay!"
