Beautiful location. The resort schedules your trip to and from the airport for you, which makes that part easy. After arrival getting to and from George Town requires some coordination with the water taxi. To get to the beaches on Stocking Island without a boat there are several trails. The trails are not always well marked but fortunately the whole island has cell coverage so you have GPS. The beaches are beautiful, pristine, and you’ll often have them to yourself. It’s a bit rustic but if you don’t mind that you’ll be well rewarded. The staff at the resort are very friendly and helpful. The food at the resort restaurant is quite good, though the included breakfast buffet is mainly toast and cold lunchmeat. I ordered breakfast off the menu most of the time. They have a nice happy hour from 3-5 with much of the menu half off. There’s also a few beach bars on the island accessible by trail or boat with food and drink. The food at Chat n’ Chill is great. The frozen Aperol Spritz at the Coconut Club is refreshing after a hike through the bush in the tropical sun.
