"Very welcoming hosts, lovely clean cozy room. The breakfast was freshly cooked using local products. Particularly to note the bacon was well above the normal Parking easy and a pleasant local pub within five minutes walk would highly recommend."
"Wonderful property, staff amazing.
Only "gripes" are - four poster bed is a *little* small, it's the equivalent of a small double bed. Also, the shower doesn't have much power.
It's an older, historical property, so do factor that into a stay.
As highlighted above though, the staff were brilliant, and the (included) breakfast was sublime.

"This is the second time that we have stayed here. It is spotlessly clean, we felt very welcome and a lovely breakfast. We were visiting family so had a late check in at 9pm which really suited us."
"Had an absolutely fabulous week at the Parson Woodforde. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming and a credit to Mark and Maria :) The food was incredible, all local produce with lovely fresh seafood specials and all very well seasoned! The roast on Sunday was one of the best I’ve ever had and we were made to feel very welcome and given loads of useful local information, nothing was too much trouble and the rooms were immaculate. "We had an absolutely excellent stay at the Maid’s Head Hotel. The room was gorgeous, spotless, and really comfortable. Every member of staff we met was super friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience feel special. Breakfast was amazing, with plenty of delicious vegan options. It was such a treat to have so much choice. Honestly, this was one of the best hotel stays we’ve had in a long time, and we can’t wait to go back!"
