"I have been asked to pay for 19% tax of total bill I have already paid on expedia (that incuded normally the tax and everything) I dont know if I should blame expedia or them. Seems there is a tax exemption for tourists in colombia when you have a package. Package definition is loose though. Expedia should know better."

"Solo Traverlers**** this is my experience. I came Solo the first day and a hotel worker tried to come on to me, even close my door and attempted to dance with me in the room. Then a few days later tried to enter my room. The hotel did a good job and investigated everything but they tried to investigate it while I was there. This could have been dangerous for me. Nevertheless I wont stay at this hotel again and I will never travel alone. The hotel is beautiful, food is amazing."

"We had a lovely room with lots of space. Everyday the room was cleaned and smelled amazing. The staff were always friendly and helpful to us and we came back one day to a lovely note and a bottle of wine as a gift from the hotel to celebrate us being on our honeymoon. Lovely touch. We spent some time each day by the pool which had fresh towels there and would be a quiet and peaceful place to relax. The location was fantastic and would absolutely stay again."

"Unfortunately, I cannot reccomend this hotel. The rooms were smaller than expected, I only slept effectively 1 out of 4 nights because of noise in the lobby or construction, and the electronic key system constantly had issues. I did not have a working code to my room the last night and had to ask the attendant 3 times to open my door in the middle of the night. I’d especially not reccomend if you are a night owl. I won’t be staying here again."

"The bedrooms are extremely misleading in the photos they’ve posted. Most of the rooms don’t have windows that lead to outside - they lead to the hallways everyone walks by to get to other rooms. The windows don’t have glass panels on them so the air conditioners are working overtime to keep the rooms cool but struggling to do that job fighting the hot air coming in from outside. The rooms are very small and not much room for bags or anything else. The photos make it look much larger than reality. I would not stay here again or pay 135$cad for a room. "
