"Great hotel! Clean, stylish, comfortable, convenient location and super professional and friendly staff. I have nothing bad at all to say about my stay. I would definitely stay here on my next visit. Two things.... the front desk manager with the high puff hairstyle is absolutely gorgeous! The only thing I didn't like was that the hotel does not use/have washcloths. Breakfast was included with my room, but be sure to order things exactly how you want if you are not used to the Colombian way to cook certain items. Overall the breakfast food was not bad and the restaurant manager was VERY NICE and accommodating. I was pleasantly please that a good number of the staff was bilingual. Easy checkin. Room was very spacious. Easy walk to both the Walled City as well as Gethsemane. It was a nice long and hot walk, but we actually walked up to the CARTEGENA sign on the beach in the heat! However we took a taxi back. But that's to let you know it's doable. I definitely recommend MOOD for anyone visiting. The rate we got was amazing as well. THANK YOU! "

"The team was very welcoming and helpful, Daniel was amazing checking in my daughter and her boyfriend, their 1st time in Cartagena and gave my husband and I very important important information while checking us out! At the restaurant, Shirley was an outstanding waitress!! Overall a great experience. One of our recommendations is for the Hyatt to invest on replacing the rooms’s refrigerators as they just don’t work…we were at a Hyatt earlier this year in Cancun, MX and unfortunately experienced the same problem."

"I always come to Cartegena. I have never stayed at this facility. I was leery at first because the price was so amazing. I couldn’t believe it so I booked it and I will tell you this was such a pleasant experience. I come to Cartegena every 2 to 3 months, I will definitely ensure that I come back to only this hotel and I’m going to bring my family as well. The staff is so understanding and so loving and so sweet—they really are the jewel of this property. This is the most convenient hotel I’ve ever stayed in when I come to Cartegena— it is so close to all of the shops and restaurants and attractions. The breakfast that they make in the morning I’m definitely going to miss as this is my last day here I wish that I could stay longer if only I didn’t have to go to work. It was such a blessing to find this property and again the affordability is unmatched the older reviews mention bedbugs. I did not have any bedbugs whatsoever. In fact, the facility was extremely clean. I read another review that mentioned about the hot water and I would like to add that the hot water is amazing. All you have to do is let it run for about 3 to 4 minutes and it works perfectly fine and stays hot. As a solo female traveler I felt safe and I really loved that they give you a map as soon as you arrive, though I know the city well I thought that was very unique and thoughtful.
