"Overall, we had a nice experience at the cottage and enjoyed our stay at Sherkston Shores. Having access to the golf cart was a great bonus and made getting around the resort much easier. We also appreciated having the barbecue available.The main issue was that we weren’t informed ahead of time that we needed to bring our own sheets, pillowcases, and towels. This was a pretty big inconvenience, especially arriving and realizing we didn’t have these essentials with us. It would have been very helpful if this had been clearly communicated before check-in. There were also no garbage bags provided.Aside from those issues, we enjoyed our stay and had a nice overall experience."

"I'm a newly divorced dad and planned this trip with my kids. Ruth was amazing during this whole experience and the place was awesome. Great location, clean, and cozy. Also it was my son's birthday during this week and we walked into the cottage and Ruth had a card and wonderful gift for my son that made his day. I have nothing but great things to say about this experience, the cottage and Ruth. Kids are already looking forward to next year and years to come as this is a new yearly tradition with me and my kids"

"Host was great with communication back and forth. Check in process was very easy and smooth. Place was as described and a great location for easy access to all the park amenities. Would definitely stay again."

"Disapppinting!NOT a 2 bathroom home as advertised! EXTREMELY disappointed upon arrival!Sliding doors did not lock properly. No light in fridge and no light over stove. Called manager and was told to figit around with the doors. Figured out the back door but the 1 at the front never locked. Was told someone would come by the next day to take a look at it - noone ever came and they never checked back in w us. Kept purses and valuables hidden or locked in car.Not a fully stocked kitchen by any means. Literally only 2 awkwardly over-sized pans and 1 burnt pot on hand. There were plenty of plates (mix match of plastic and porcelain) but cutlery, utensils, bowls, glasses and mugs need a major refresh and more of them! For a place that advertizes it sleeps 8, the last thing I want to have to bring is kitchen essentials of that sort. A quick run to Dollarama would help refresh that kitchen and make things more welcoming to guests."

"Our family of four had an amazing time during our stay at Sherkston. The cottage was excellent. It was clean, beds were comfortable, everything worked well, and it had everything that we needed to feel at home. Adela, our hostess, was very nice and always responded very quickly. The included golf cart was a nice addition as it helped getting around the resort. We would definitely rent this cottage again!"

"This is our 3rd visit to Sherkston and we always enjoy our time there. The size of the cottage was perfect. It wasn’t clear that some amenities in the resort weren’t included (swimming pool). About a week before checking in we were asked to pay a registration fee which wasn’t disclosed during reservation. Pillows and bedsheets weren’t clean. Were these taken care of by the host the stay would have been perfect."

"Super responsive host who was very helpful and kind. Trailer came with everything we needed for our stay and conveniently located close by the pool. You could see the water from the deck.Trailer is older but perfectly functional and fit us all comfortably."
