It was like my own one BR apartment. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was friendly and attentive. It was a very relaxing change from chain hotels and close to downtown Denver. Highly recommended.

It’s quite rare to find a bed and breakfast that has a team of employees who are so invested in quality hospitality. Every employee was exemplary. Looking forward to staying there again next visit out that way .

The Patterson is the place to stay in Denver. The bed in the Biltmore room was the most comfortable bed we have slept in on the road or maybe even at home. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable regarding Denver or other areas of Colorado. The presentation of the meals were just as pleasing as the taste. The Lumber Barron Inn is an amazingly well kept 19th century mansion with beautiful details and antique decor. It tells a very interesting story. The owners are lovely and treated us so well during our stay. We live in Denver but are so glad we took this perfect staycation!!!

My partner and I fell in love with this hidden gem, and frequently return for getaways from summit county. Whether we are going to a red rocks show, or running errands in Denver- once we discovered Cliff House, we have never stayed anywhere else!
However. We've always paid about $200 a night which is a fair price for the cottages we've chosen... I tried to book a night in April, and it is over $400! That is really disappointing as that price is not reasonable, and I will not be able to return...
