"Staff were friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately that’s all the benefits of this place. Location was a nightmare if driving - it is on the top of a hill with a single narrow lane and nowhere to park. Had to park at nearest paid parking lot and walk then push luggage uphill to hotel. Hotel is very dated and has no air conditioning. I knew this before hand from the hotel info, but was not prepared for a room with no windows in the middle of a 35C heat wave. A fan was provided, but not...

"Very nice location, beautiful area. Be aware that if you arrive at a time when receptionist is not present (on Sunday afternoon, say) you will need to make a phone call in order to get the code to let you in the building."

"Business trip. Hotel was excellent. Apart from all the building work going on. Nothing on the site to say this was happening. Less than half the hotel available to use. "

"If you don't mind staying in a shoebox sized room the basic comfort, modern facilities and decor will work for you. I never saw any employees as self service check in at door. Didn't have time to eat but kitchen looked clean and was a self dervice one. "

Most of the staff didn't speak English,and the restaurant did not have a menu in English, which, I must say, I have never seen in an international hotel brand. Other than that, the stay was just generally average. I would not go back, but it is kind of the only place to stay in Hyeres, so I guess that's why they can get away with it. Sad to say"
