10/10 Excellent

"Everything about our experience was wonderful except the weather, which we were expecting. Had hoped for clear weather for our hike from Mount Ulriken to Floyen. Unfortunately cool, rain and clouds. We were there so hiked it anyway. A bit of a challenge but still fun. The hotel was warm and accommodating on our return."

"Our flight was cancelled, we arrived the next day and even though we had sent someone early in the morning to let staff know we were arriving later, when we got there we were told that our PRE-PAID room was given. I would have expected at least a phone call before this happening. We had to stay in another room and move to the room we had booked the following day, with two kids. We were not offered anything for this. When we finally had a room (on the first day) at 10:00pm (!) (we had to wait for them to find us something since 7:00pm when we got there) the kids' bed was not even made! We had to call reception and wait for someone to come. There was also a hospitality strike and breakfast was poor, not even eggs. No warning about this either even though our breakfast was prepaid as well."

"Rooms are adequate & ckean but of course smaller than in UK or US. Extra pillows would kelp. Breakfast excellent and staff Very friendly & helpful staff at front and kitchen - especially when considering they are operating under strike conditions. Breakfast excellent+ .....Bar knows how to make a great Norwegian Gin & Tonic! Only demerit... showers need a caddy for personal soaps etc and a light that could be dimmed or a night light!!"
