"I was advised by staff at the Cottonwood Boutique Hotel that their sister hotel, the Ocean View Hotel was closed due to maintenance. So I can not give you feedback for that stay. However, I was given a room at the Cottonwood Boutique Hotel instead. Normally when I stay at the Cottonwood Hotel it is for a break and I always book the ocean view room. I had stayed on the Friday and Saturday I was put in a small double at the back of the building, so decided to book a double at the Ocean View for...

"The hotel interior is a bit tired and out of date and generally could benefit from a modern refit. However, the rooms are clean and comfortable and it’s good value for money, and located within a short walk or drive to the beach, restaurants and shops. The staff are friendly and helpful. The pool and jacuzzi is an added bonus. Parking onsite is free, but gets busy in the summer months. I would stay here again, thank you."

"Hotel staff and concierge were great. Breakfast was excellent for a buffet. The restaurant and pub seemed to have staffing problems and were not attentive. The facility is showing it's age, however. Still, it was convenient to the mall for shopping. A little to far to walk to the Horizon cruise terminal with any luggage, but the concierge hooked us up with a taxi."

"The hotel is in need of significant refurbishment and appears to be quite run-down. There were several issues during my stay, including a blocked toilet, a bath that drained poorly and filled up due to a blockage no aerial TV connection and no Wi-Fi access in the room. I would not expect these kinds of problems from a hotel in the UK. While the location is good the maintenance issues need to be addressed and resolved as a priority."

"The building was lovely, but we were on the lower ground and there was a wall obstructing our view out of the window. The room was very basic with no colour or decoration and seemed like it was put together at the last minute. We felt because we had booked via a deal we were given the very basic. Won't return"
