The property itself is stunning: a beautifully preserved historic estate set in the peaceful hills near Cortona, surrounded by gardens, vineyards, and the golden light of the Tuscan countryside. But what truly set this place apart — what made it unforgettable — was the food. We were treated to an extraordinary culinary journey: over 19 exquisite courses, each one more delicious and artfully presented than the last. Every dish felt like a masterpiece — bold in flavor, flawless in technique, and crafted with the kind of passion you’d expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant. The chef didn’t just cook — they told a story with each plate. The restaurant staff went above and beyond, especially the manager, who made us feel like honored guests every time we sat down to dine. Every detail — from wine pairings to plating — was perfect. It was, hands down, the best food we had in all of Europe. "What a beautiful setting, slightly out of town so ideal if you have a car. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Parking was easy, free and onsite. Room was very comfortable, extra pillows given upon request. Room was clean and bathroom was luxury- powerful and spacious shower. Wifi in the room and a balcony to enjoy outside. Window could be left open slightly for a fresh breeze. No fridge in the room or drinking water but an abundance of towels. Breakfast was included and consisted of coffee and a selection of biscuits, jams and cakes. Lots of prepackaged stuff so great if you're with kids or going out for the day. No hesitation recommending this place! "
