The property itself is stunning: a beautifully preserved historic estate set in the peaceful hills near Cortona, surrounded by gardens, vineyards, and the golden light of the Tuscan countryside. But what truly set this place apart — what made it unforgettable — was the food. We were treated to an extraordinary culinary journey: over 19 exquisite courses, each one more delicious and artfully presented than the last. Every dish felt like a masterpiece — bold in flavor, flawless in technique, and crafted with the kind of passion you’d expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant. The chef didn’t just cook — they told a story with each plate. The restaurant staff went above and beyond, especially the manager, who made us feel like honored guests every time we sat down to dine. Every detail — from wine pairings to plating — was perfect. It was, hands down, the best food we had in all of Europe. "Absolutely fabulous stay! We came as a family of 4 with our 2 college students. The rooms were perfectly appointed, the staff went above and beyond. We mentioned that we wanted a wine tasting and they made that happen the next day (a Saturday). The food at breakfast was wonderful. Parking was easy. The pool was the greatest end to a day. Dinner at Cortona twice while we were there was fun! We will definitely be back! "

"What a beautiful setting, slightly out of town so ideal if you have a car. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Parking was easy, free and onsite. Room was very comfortable, extra pillows given upon request. Room was clean and bathroom was luxury- powerful and spacious shower. Wifi in the room and a balcony to enjoy outside. Window could be left open slightly for a fresh breeze. No fridge in the room or drinking water but an abundance of towels. Breakfast was included and consisted of coffee and a selection of biscuits, jams and cakes. Lots of prepackaged stuff so great if you're with kids or going out for the day. No hesitation recommending this place! "

"Room was cozy, easy access, free parking and very friendly staff. Breakfast was plentiful and coffee was good. We had late night arrival and leafy early. Only thing in negative side was the fetter pillows. First time ever in my hotel night, me being allergic, wish I did have a choice. "
